Past Experience

For this comprehensive proposal for a Lidar-assisted natural resource and forest inventory to the Land Between the Lakes RA team. The proposed project is designed to address the unique challenges of hardwood forests within the area, emphasizing the collection of Lidar data during the most optimal leaf-off period (December – March). Our committed team will work diligently throughout the project to ensure an accurate Lidar and imagery data collection, field data collection, and processing to provide the greatest value within each of our Digital Inventory® products.

This presents the collection of custom specification high-resolution Lidar (~30ppm) and high-resolution 4-band aerial imagery (~12-inch resolution) acquisition on 171,328 acres in order to analyze forest and landscape resources for the Land Between the Lakes RA to meet future management goals. Our resource assessment of the proposed area includes Lidar flights, imagery, field verification, and analysis for a suite of Digital Inventory® products across this landscape. The following sections provide a description of the Digital Inventory® products to be provided.

1st Lady Facility and Management successfully supported a large-scale LIDAR-based forest inventory project for the Land Between the Lakes Recreation Area. The goal was to help land managers better understand the unique conditions of the region’s hardwood forests and support future planning efforts.

Our team coordinated the collection of high-resolution LIDAR data (about 30 points per square meter) and 4-band aerial imagery with 12-inch resolution across more than 171,000 acres. This work was strategically performed during the leaf-off season (December through March) to ensure maximum visibility of the forest floor and tree structure.

In addition to the aerial data, we also conducted field verification and data analysis to ensure accuracy and value. The results fed into a comprehensive suite of Digital Inventory® products, giving the Land Between the Lakes team clear, actionable insights into forest conditions, land use, and natural resource planning.

This project showcases our ability to manage complex data collection efforts and deliver detailed environmental assessments that inform sustainable land management.

Client: United States Postal Service (USPS)

Scope:
1st Lady Facility and Management provided expert support on the USPS ICAM program, helping improve how users access secure systems across the agency. Our team led the design and deployment of smart card authentication, single sign-on (SSO), and secure API access. We helped ensure the USPS met federal identity security standards using platforms like ForgeRock and SailPoint.

This project highlights our team's ability to deliver enterprise-level identity solutions that align with federal cybersecurity frameworks, including HSPD-12 and NIST compliance.

Client: General Services Administration (GSA), National Science Foundation (NSF)

Scope:
As part of our IT and cybersecurity services, we supported the GSA and NSF with strategic identity access planning and security integration. This included configuring secure access using smart cards, managing privileged access accounts, and enhancing security through directory and federation services (SAML, OAuth).

Client: Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Department of Defense (DoD)

Scope:
1st Lady Facility and Management contributed to the development of secure IT architecture for multiple federal agencies. Our services included cloud security implementation, application integration, and privileged access management using tools such as CyberArk and CA PAM.
This work supported large-scale transitions to secure, cloud-based environments and helped these agencies meet strict federal cybersecurity requirements.
